On February 2014, Ministry of Education of the Peoples Republic of China announced a totaly of 356,499 international students were studying abroad in China. There are many advantages for British students to choose to study abroad in China and here is our top 10 list...  

1. It's Cheap
Studying and living in China cost considerably less than Europe, USA, Japan, South Korea and many other countries. One can live quite comfortably with a small budget in China. Accommodation costs a lot less than in the UK, a meal at a local restaurant for one person could only cost one pound fifty to two pounds. A good pair of shoes might cost about 10 – 15 pounds at a local market. Taking a bus is usually about 10 pence, and a subway ticket in Shanghai and Beijing is about 20 pence.
